Joe Igbokwe, one of those who reigned in the All Progressives Congress, APC in Lagos as a strongman of the inner caucus, even as Special Adviser to the Governor of Lagos State on Drainage is now complaining, an act we believe may have taken him alot to summon up courage for.
Joe, according to reports has continued to lament about the high electricity tariff being witnessed all over the country.
Over the weekend, he wrote an open letter to President Bola Tinubu lamenting about the high electricity tariffs, warning that if the situation is not looked into, it would lead to the ‘death’ of many businesses.
In fresh posts shared on his Facebook page, Igbokwe, a staunch APC supporter, warned that if electricity-providing companies, that is, the Tramission Company of Nigeria, TCN and others, continue with their high tariffs, Nigerians would be forced to bypass them.
He also stated that due to the high tariff, members of his household have resolved to always turn off their electrical appliances, with some using solar to power their homes.
