African Men Entertainment Kings otherwise known as AFRIMEK has announced the indefinite suspension of one of their members and Nollywood actor, Adeniyi Johnson due to gross misconduct and violation of the club’s constitution.
Reports say that the decision was shared on AFRIMEK’s official Instagram page over the weekend with a statement stating the explicitly barring of Mr. Johnson from presenting himself as a club member or engaging in any club-related activities.
Johnson had previously served as AFRIMEK’s Public Relations Officer, playing a significant role within the organisation.
In his response to the suspension, Adeniyi Johnson expressed his disappointment in a public statement where he highlighted concerns that the club’s actions could harm his reputation, family, and brand, emphasizing that his wife was unaware of the situation until the announcement was made. Despite his frustration about the action of the club, Mr. Johnson called on his family, friends, and fans to remain calm and continue showing their support, reassuring his associates of his humility and gratitude for their ongoing trust and belief in him.
