The President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu yesterday, appointed highly detribalised Nigerian and intelligence officer per excellence, Adeola Oluwatosin Ajayi as the new Director General of the Department of State Services, DSS.
Mr. Tosin Ajayi replaces the now former DG of the DSS, Yusuf Bichi.
The Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale made the announcement on Monday in Abuja as the appointment came after Yusuf Bichi was removed as Director General.
A former Director of the DSS and President of the National Association of Security Studies, Mike Ejiofor speaking to Arise News said that Tosin Ajayi is a career intelligence officer, the youngest Director General of the DSS in history and he is loved amongst the staff members of the service.
According to Mr. Ejiofor, Tosin as I know him mixes very well and has a character that endears him to not only the commission, but outside the commission.
Oluwatosin Ajayi will do well, being that his appointment is from within the service and has goodwill with not only staff members, but with retired staff members of the DSS, Mr. Ejiofor said.

Congratulations to him… let him sha start with leading the DSS right and stop being political tools to the politicians especially those in the ruling party.
