Pensioners in Rivers State took their protest to the Rivers State Government House yesterday to demand for the payment of their pension owed them by the Nyesom Wike led administration.
According
to the protesting pensioners, they have been owed pension since 2015 and are
praying the Governor Sim Fubara to pay off all these debts to give them
what is due them.
Being
owed since 2015 would mean that former Governor Rotimi Amaechi paid until he left
office in 2015 and Nyesom Wike refused to pay completely till he left office in
2023, leaving the debt to Sim Fubara to pay and we hope he does good by them.
