The Performing Musicians Association of Nigerian, PMAN has expressed shock over the death of multi-talented musician, Olanrewaju Fasasi, popularly known as Sound Sultan who died on Sunday, the 11th of July, 2021 in far away America where he was being treated for through related ailment.
Expressing the shock of the Association, the President of PMAN, Pretty Okafor wrote; “What a dark moment for the entire entertainment industry as you passed on at this time that you are needed most and we must admit that your untimely exit has created a lot of vacuum in the creative industry because you were indeed a center of attraction full of unblemished character with positive influence on the people around you”.
Continuing, Mr. Okafor says, Your contributions and impact towards Nation building through your inspirational music will forever be remembered and at this point, even though we are still in shock and pain over your demise, we still fall back to almighty God in prayers to accept your humble soul as you relocated to join the heavenly divine musical band in his bosom.
